University Life Update 2018 - July to November

 Assalamualaikum everyone 👋

wow it feels a little too overwhelming to actually write again, after not doing any brain-storming for this blog. Not gonna lie, I barely stretched out any of my brain cells for new posts; but, I do not want to leave my blog, no, I’m not gonna. It’s just that for the past few months, I was trying to adapt in a new environment, which was the first fresh start of being a university student. Woah, such a big word to mention - university. Alhamdulillah, I’ve been feeling content and very happy throughout my first semester though there were a lot of contrasts which I still am trying to adjust into but your girl is slowly walking up the stairs! 😁😁💜💜

Also, another reason is that, truthfully I felt a little off, and had low determination which I know will make me regret posting things if I continue of with the mindset.. 😔😔

For this post, I feel like I need to have a light come-back (?) by just writing down the things that have happened to me for the past months and I am more than glad to have you readers a little peek of what I’ve experienced. // get a glimpse of my timeline below 💗💗💗

JULY

This was the very first month I actually can call myself a Uni student. I attended the Fresher’s Orientation for a week and honestly just pinching myself numerous times to actually get me back to reality that I will start studying here for the next 4 years, to get a degree- what? Woah, Alhamdulillah that Allah has given me an opportunity that I dreamed for. 🎈

What am I taking? Oh, the hopes and dreams for the route of Medicine/Pharmacy (which I mentioned here in my previous post) was crushed but your girl got herself a Plan B, pursuing an interest that she loved for years, which is, the chemist life ehehe. No regrets! 🌈🌈🌈🌈

AUGUST
1^st –
Whoop, here’s my first time entering the chemistry lab. I remember how awkward I felt surrounding with new people (surprisingly, most of them know each other...i don’t). None of my closest friends take Chemistry so your girl felt a little timid, but hey I made friends in a second! Everyone is so nice here, I’m glad. 💘💘

8^th –

The day where I meet such wonderful new friends, a decision that I didn’t regret – joining a Student Body under my Faculty, Faculty of Science, in other words FOSSB which I now, am happy to call them my UBD family already. 😍

11^th –

a lil away from my Uni thread, here’s a small BBQ get-together with my dearest ex-classmates before we all part ways to our own paths, stepping into adulthood uhuhu 😪😪😪

28^th –

Your girl passed her driving test, and oh no she can drive now. Time flies sooo fast! 🚗🚗

SEPTEMBER

As usual, normal routine, attending lectures, nothing very exciting. 🎉🎉

My first FOSSB weekly bonding session after the FOSSB orientation, surprisingly these people clicks w me a lot! And here are the people who were total strangers, now they mean a lot to me. 💐

16^th - 24^th –

Semester Break 🌈🌈

  oh I did my first group filming as well here with my cutest new MIB friends 💗💗💗

25^th-27^th –

My first ever FOSSB event. FOSSB Week: The Third Era 💗

OCTOBER

Honestly, this was one hectic month I must say, assignments and deadlines to chase. EPPPP

10^th –

Another FOSSB activity, Cultural Visit, bringing the Airlangga Students from Indonesia for a tour around our Bandar 🌇🌇

11^th –

Oh did I mention that I am in Dodgeball? What? Ikr HAHAHAHA, I’ve always loved sports ever since I was a kid but during my A level years, I just...don’t, at all. I did join Fitness & Athletics during A but your girl is too small to be lifting dumbbells HAHAHAHA glad they had light workouts for moi.  I was so active in the Theatre field though hehe! A good friend of mine who studied in Aussie came back for a while and we had a great catch up sesh💕💕💕💕

20^th –

The day I signed up to be a part of the Field Performer & March Passer for UBD IFSM, I was hesitant at first... huehuehue I felt unfit when trying out the moves, damn HAHAHA

NOVEMBER

 

Exam is nearing, trying to run around between responsibilities and duties, juggling revisions and inconsistent breaks in between. :’)

4^th – The happiest day I’ve ever been in uni. Inter-Faculty Sports Meet. Although it was dead-hot, the sun was scorching hot, giving me a slap of heat, leaving such burn, I regret nothing. After all the tight-practices which my team had put dedication and determination on, we won the Best Performer and the Best Supporting Team. I, am a proud Dipsy! 💚💚💚💚💚

Last  FOSSB Bonding Session of 2018, from knowing only 2-3 people, now I know everyone in the room (some couldnt attend huhu 😪😪)

MY FIRST EXAMMMM :’) (tbh, I’ve learned a lot on how I should revise and what I should not do, your girl has regrets....but heh this alerts me to do much better for the next semesters!) 📝📝📝📝

Naaaw, now that I wrote that all down, I really love everything that had happened so far. I can’t wait to share more memories for me to look back (and for y’all to read too!) here in my blog. I was happy and laughing most of the time (obviously crying bcos of assignments and exams but-) my uni life had a good great start 💗💗

And I, want to be consistent on posting and growing this little blog of mine. Hopefully 2019 is the year? YEEHEE, brain-storming is in process! 📝📝
