Greetings again lovely readers, another beauty post for you! Phew that's one long title.
Today’s product that I’m going to review is a facial scrub that I’ve been using for about ten months now which is The Body Shop’s Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator 75ml, actual price was BND22.90.

Date of purchase? 26-04-15. how can I remember? I still keep the receipt HAHAH. I bought this along with their Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask 100ml (I will make a review about this soon), will notify you! I bought this with a discounted price, BND20.61, 10% off!

I can’t say this is my favourite because during the first few months, my skin feels so oily after every time using it, like it wasn’t able to clean my face that well, but I do feel the exfoliation going on.

This scrub claims to be used for Combination/Oily Skin.
I took a Skin Type Quiz at Renee Rouleau’s website.
Go and find your skin type: https://www.reneerouleau.com/skin-types
So with this, it really helped me on finding out what’s best for my skin and what’s not.

Product description – An Oil-balancing polish to deep cleanse pores and reveal smooth skin.

  •        What does this scrub do to my skin?

As I mentioned above, it made my skin feel a little oily during the few months. As my skin gets used to it, I’m kind of happy that it actually made my skin feel much more cleaner and well-scrubbed, if that’s a good word. HAHAHAH. The grains actually are too big for me though, it’s like so rough and it might irritate your skin; because mine did! My face always turns red right after ((cries)) but but but guys, now that I have less acne, it is actually working well to my skin now. Heh, quite a confusing product ay?
  •        How often should I use it?

In my preference, I only use it like two to three times a month, really. Unless when my face feels so icky and dirty then I’ll scrub my face. I rarely use it in a week because I’m so scared it might scar my face, like it will tear my face or something. T-T

The packaging is nice, this calming blue colour and it comes with a squeezy bottle.

As you can see the grains are big, it looks fairly similar to my Soap & Glory Body Polish (click here to read my post) but this one is really grainier(?) than that. It will give you an intense scrub, it won’t dissolve either.

IT SMELLS GOOD THOUGH. THE SMELL TEST – PASSED!

  • Do I feel like repurchasing it?

To be very honest, no. I’m sorry Body Shop hahahah. But I will try their other facial scrub, just not this one.

Product rate?
2 out of 5.

That’s all for today’s review, will be back with more beauty posts!
Assalamualaikum everyone, thanks for reading. <3

Lots of love, Faizeemah. xoxo
