Have you heard about Facial Mists or Face Sprays? They
are one of my daily essential products and I really think it is necessary for
me to carry it everywhere. Ever since day one I use them, they have already
been one of my favorite. I’ve tried out few different brands of facial mists
& I’m going to explain in details below on my thoughts about them.
First of all, what’s the benefit of Facial Mists/Face
Sprays?
The ultimate thing is that it helps to keep your
skin fully moisturized throughout the day, when your skin feels dry; just
spray them all over your face and voila!
Most facial mists have other benefits such as:
-
Maintaining your skin’s pH
-
Controls oil effectively
-
Brightens up your skin
-
Firms your skin
-
Best to set make-up/after make-up removal
& many more...
(Keep in mind that not all face mists gets absorbed into
the skin and not all of them acts fully as sunscreens)
How
I use my face sprays? Simply spray away, pat dry & done!
These are the facial mists that I'm currently using & the ones that I've used:

CURRENTLY
USING:
CAUDALIE’S Grape Water Facial Mist
Bought this at Sephora, been using it around 3 months
already & it works wonders. It made my skin feel moisturized and
refreshed. I usually use this after cleansing and toning my face, I’ve subbed
this out as a daily moisturizer for these past few days since my regular moisturizer
ran out. So far I’ve not seen any visible facial changes, it doesn’t really
remove my acne scars but it does lighten up my face after every application;
only for few hours. This contains 100% organic grapes. Claims to be preservatives-free
& fragrance-free.
PROS:
-
Leaving my skin feel moisturized
-
Absorbs well into my skin
-
Doesn’t leave my face shiny feeling & oily
-
Suitable for everyday use
-
Cooling & soothing

-
Doesn’t fade away acne scars
-

I’VE
USED:
Avene’s Thermal Spring Water
Okay let me just tell you guys that THIS is my favorite
facial mist so far, although I’m not currently using this because I’m trying out something else but I surely will purchase this again. I’ve had tons of empties,
literally used them for a long time. I usually buy the small size; easy for me
to carry it anywhere, especially in school whenever I feel like my face needs
hydration. I can say this is my favorite because it gave my skin this kind of
glow & somewhat fully moisturize? It’s really gentle and it is also a
product that absorb well into my skin. I’ve recommended this to my family

but a small bottle goes a long way because you don’t need frequent applications
a day.

Bio-Essence’s Miracle Bio Water
This is my first ever facial mist, my mom bought it for
me because she said she have seen positive changes on her friend's skin ever since she
started using this. After few months of using this, yes, I felt like it does
make my skin feeling more hydrated. Among all of my facial mists that I’ve
bought, this is the most gentle and the cheapest too. It gives your skin the
highest hydration with lowest salt content. Benefit wise, this has A LOT MORE
than the others. I won’t type it all here; I’ll put a picture of the
description down here.

The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Face Mist
Right, why does this product placed below than the other
three? This Vitamin E with hints of rosewater made my skin feel so irritated, at
first I thought its normal but after months using this I’ve noticed that every time
I spray this on my face, my skin turned red and somehow this product made me
break-out a lot. T-T
I’ve researched about this product and I found out that
this contains alcohol, a strong one. It does have a very strong nice smell but
I’m sooo not into this product. It does a good job in setting make-up though,
but I just can’t stand the irritation. Maybe it is just too strong for my skin
although it says that this spray is suitable for ALL skin type. Regret buying
this because my skin was so bad, my pimples started to form everywhere. Sorry
Body Shop, not buying this ever again. :(
PROS:
-
Very lovely packaging
-
A very nice scent
-
Perfect for setting make-up
CONS:
-
Irritated my skin
-
Skin feels SUPER oily after
-
Face breaking-out
-
Not suitable for oily skin
Not all face sprays that I bought goes straight to my
favorite list; some does a very good job & some are just...bad :(
My favorite is Avene’s & YEP I will buy it again. I’ll
update more if I try out different facial mist brands. ^^
Do you have your own favorite facial mist or you haven’t
try out any? Give it a try & I’m sure you’ll love it HEHEHE.
That’s
all for now, see you on my next one!
Thankyou
for reading & Assalamualaikum.
Lots
of love, Faizeemah. xoxo
