Have you guys read my post about The Body Shop’s Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator? If you guys have then you might have read me
mention about me doing an upcoming review about The Body Shop’s Seaweed Ionic
Clay Mask. Yep, yep, I’m finally doing it today, HEHE.
Price: BND29.90
Bought it with a 30% off: BND20.93
Actually I have been searching for a face mask for so long!
But I couldn’t find the right one for me, I was scared to try new products;
scared that it would burn my skin. To be honest, my original plan was to buy a
peel-off mask but I couldn’t find any eye-catching ones HAHAHA. We do have
peel-off masks sold here in our local drugstore shop but I wanted to try
something more to the high-end side? If Body Shop is a high-end product store
HAHAHAH.
Before purchasing this, of course I did few researches
on the Body Shop’s website. I read the reviews on every face masks that they
have, and I’ve seen positive reviews on this one! It is also one of their
best-seller products.

They also have other face clay masks that I would love to try
next!
The one that I really really want to try is their Tea
Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask, maybe soon? HEHEHE
Product description – Suitable for Combination/Oily
Skin. Purifies, cleanses and controls excess oil.
Have been using this for almost a month & i still have it half full!
This clay mask’s tub has the same colour tone as the
Seaweed Facial Exfoliator, a nice ocean blue package. The packaging is very convenient;
this comes in a tub of 100ml worth of goodness!
This is what it looks like inside, it doesn’t
look...great HAHAH, but trust me, this thick gray clay is very MOISTURIZING to
your skin; to my skin! :)
NOTE: Don't leave the insides exposed to air, afraid they will dry out!
· What
does this mask do to my skin and how do I use it?
I
just apply a generous even amount onto face.
That's obviously not a picture of my face but yeaa HAHA |
HAVE
FUN! I like seeing my face covered in this clay mask; love to mess around with
it. This mask is also very hydrating, totally a product I’ll use to pamper
myself during my lazy days.
Leave them on your face for about 10-15 minutes, until
they’re completely dry and then? RINSE THEM OFF! ^^ Don’t forget to moisturize
your skin right after! :)
I sometimes use a face wash cloth to wash everything
off, this way you can really ensure that everything has completely washed off. Take
your time and massage your face too, this helps to circulate the blood flowing
under your skin’s face.
· How
often should I use it?
I used this quite often, like two times a week? But I lie if I say I use this every week. Sometimes, I'm just too lazy, ya feel me? xD It isn’t
as harsh as the Seaweed Facial Exfoliator, (remember how I mentioned I only
scrub my face twice or thrice a month?) so I can consider using this more often
than the scrub onto my face.
· Do
I feel like repurchasing it?
YESSSS YESSSS YESSS! YES!
Unlike the Facial Exfoliator which was so harsh to my
skin, I would consider this as a VERY GOOD AND WORTH THE PRICE facial clay
mask! But after this, I’ll maybe try out the Tea Tree line next. Who knows that
can defeat this? HEHEHE
